Mariners Game

Austin got us free tickets through his school for a Mariners Baseball game this past Friday. So, we left Kai home with a babysitter and the three of us loaded up in the Mini and went to Seattle. Austin and Tyler had peanuts and Cracker Jacks and Tyler got a thrill out of throwing the peanut shells on the ground. She loved having time with just Mommy and Daddy and we all had a great night out together! If you look at the last pic of the Mariners sign, you will see Qwest field, the space needle and Seattle Bay... it was a beautiful view and with the terrible weather that we have had lately, it ended up being a beautiful evening and we could not have asked for better weather, we were all so glad for no rain.

Looks like fun! Baseball gmaes are the funnest i think. :) I can't wait till Luke is old enough to go to stuff like that and have fun!

We haven't decided on a stroller yet...still debating. But I think we will end up getting one, and probably the one you showed us! Just trying to find a good excuse to buy it...I kind of missed it with MOther's day and my b-day and annversary aren't until Feb! BUt if we're getting one I want to get it to use for the summer, so we'll see. :)

Don't you just love going to baseball games? I do. Sorry that the Mariners aren't doing so well this season. Your husband probably isn't obsessed like mine so you could careless. You probably didn't even know that they weren't having a good season. That is how much Jared has rubbed off on me.

Hey Buff...I saw your comment asking about the auction at our family reunion. Here is how it works - everyone coming to the reunion brings items to auction off. Sometimes they are homemade things like quilts, treats; sometimes they are services like a cooked dinner, scrapbook pages; sometimes it is family history items (copies of old pictures, journals - these items always seem to raise lots of $), and sometimes its stuff like bought toys for the kids (water guns and stuff like that are always good ones), games, or shirts like we made, pretty much anything goes. But everyone just kind of knows they need to bring at least one, if not a few things to auction off. Then they hold the auction on the last night of the reunion and everyone bids for the items. They do it as a big group auction so the items get going up more and more in price and people get all into it trying to outbid each other. Of course people usually pay more then what the stuff is probably really worth but it's fun cause people feel like they are getting something for their $ and everyone is willing to pay a lot for the items since they know it's all going to next year's reunion. This year they raised about $3000! It works out pretty good. If you have any other questions let me know!

Pretty sure its time to update your blog my friend. Just a suggestion. Guess who I saw last night? Remember the aerobics teacher Julie from Treehouse who had the adorable son Parker and daughter Brooke?? She taught the class I went to. Random. Oh and her children are 11 and 9! Does that make you feel old? I do.
